7. Any terms and conditions are set out in our care letter sent to you at the outset of any case. If you wish to see a draft care letter please apply to our Chatham office and we will send you a copy. The term and conditions are governed by English Law and by the rules and regulations imposed by our various regulatory authorities referred to above.

8. The main features of our service are set out in our care letter and a first instruction letters shortly after you confirm your instructions. If you wish to see a draft first instruction letter please apply to our Chatham office and we will send you a copy. If you do not receive either the care letter or the first instruction letter please contact the office without delay and we will send these to you including information specific to your case.

9. Our professional liability insurance covers us for the ‘provision of private practice in England, Wales or anywhere in the world’ under policy number UC SOL 3437555. 11. The Legal Complaint Service offers a non - judicial disputes resolution procedure should you not be satisfied with the firms handling of your complaint. They can be found at: www.legalcomplaints.org.uk

12. We set out in as much detail as we can the ‘price of our service’ whether legal aid or on a private basis in our care letters. In legal aid cases it is the Government which sets out the fees and pricing structure not private practice in respect of legal aid. If you wish to see a draft care letter please apply to our Chatham office and we will send you a copy. For legal aid matters please contact the Legal Services Commission, which is the relevant competent authority who can be found at   www.legalservices.gov.uk or the Ministry of Justice who will direct you to further information as to the complicated pricing structure and calculations in so far as our care letter does not cover all aspects of legal aid pricing

13. Our private rates are set out in detail in our private care letter. Where our service is paid for by an award of cost in favour of a private paying client these are paid under Defendants Costs Order funding, the price of it is determined by the Ministry of Justice and at present will only be paid at legal aid rates which may not cover all your private costs, the balance of which you will still be liable to pay to the firm.
